Hi Friends,
It’s getting tough in the art business. Can’t wait for Jan & Feb to be over, although this does give us, Melinda Lewin & Kellie Jacobs, my daughters a chance to paint and get ready for Piccolo Spoleto in May. I wonder what my artist friends have been doing this winter. I’m wanting to paint trees, trees and more trees right now.

Hi Folks,
Wishing everyone “Happy Holidays” from the Hamlet Fine Art Gallery in Charleston, South Carolina. My daughters and I have been painting for the last few months to produce enough work for an exhibition in Booth Harbor, Maine. The show was very exciting and brought in many new customers to the Maine gallery. During my visit, I was very fortunate to visit artist , Helen St. Claire in her studio, and also Kathleen & Mitch Billis in their studios. I was so enthralled with Helen’s pallette that I came home immediatedly and embarked on several paintings using a more muted palette. As many of you know, I am used to painting in bold reds, yellows, & blues in my mixed media artwork. I have a new body of work which is selling well in the gallery.
Merry Christmas and a safe Happy New Year!
Warmest Regards,
Stephanie
Hi Everyone,
I’m still painting, but it’s been a long, hot, summer. We’re ready for the fall and the October 5th French Quarter Gallery artwalk. Please come and see what all the buzz is about.

Hi Everyone,
Hope you are having a great Valentine’s Day. We at the Hamlet Fine Art Gallery are having a great time. What better way to spend Valentine’s day than painting or being in a gallery, a place that you love to spend time. Melinda Lewin and Kellie Jacobs started a couple of beautiful artworks yesterday. I couldn’t seem to get anything working for me, so I’m taking tomorrow off to paint all day.

Hi Friends,
It’s cold in the South, but our artwork is warm and fuzzy. Kellie, Melinda and I worked on new artwork this Tuesday. Kellie finished a beautiful new marsh scene, while Melinda worked on an exquisite new still life. I, on the other hand, painted this beautiful sunrise on the Santee River – still working on it.

Hi World,
My daughters had a successful day yesterday painting in the Hamlet Fine Art Gallery in Charleston, S.C. We always have a great time painting! Melinda & Kellie finished a piece that they had been working on. Today, hopefully I’ll finish one. Check us out, I’m trying to update with a new photo of Melinda and me painting.
Hi All, This is Kellie, my youngest daughter painting in the Hamlet Fine Art Gallery on Tuesday, Jan 11th. I’m going to try to load a picture of my other daughter, Melinda & myself painting, also. Too, bad, didn’t work.
