“I began my artist adventure with oil and pastels, drawn by their intense, rich colors. Through experimentation, I found a path to express myself in a more loose, flowing medium and have found my passion in mixed media. My Lowcountry background instilled in me a love for the wonder of nature. Bold color and visual texture are the language for expressing the emotion of my work. Painting natural landscapes and flowers, while adding my own interpretation and expression of love for my environment is an exciting challenge.”
